Print Mafia is the team of Connie Collingsworth and Jim Madison. They
have been creating gigposters and many other forms of rock-n-roll art
since 1997 when Print Mafia was formed. They
make posters the old fashioned way - designing without the use of computers,
and hand pulling each color of limited edition silkscreened rock art posters.
Their main tools are Xacto knives, copy machines and an extensive archive
of found images and illustrations - Old School Cut and Paste. Print
Mafia posters have the look, feel, and texture of having been unearthed
from another time and place-but what always "gets people" is
that what they produce is for very modern, present-day events. Keep an
eye out for the launch of an apparel line featuring designs from the nine
year collection of Print Mafia Rock Art Posters.
